a lead large enough for the not to blow. The Guppies would let Knight's

forth all night" stated Guppies Defenseman Tom Mierkiewicz"
We never could put the final nail in the coffin". The Knights would

goal with 4:13 on the clock. The Gupps called a time out with a little
over 2 minutes remaining to work out a plan of attack. It paid off as
Tim Poulin took a pass from Jason Zito and walk in with Brian Kelly on
the 2 on 1. "I held onto the ball as the Knight's defenseman went
down, I knew that with the Dek he would eventually stop sliding and I
could get the ball over to Kelly" Poulin slid the ball over down
low and Kelly tipped it in for the go ahead goal with just 20 seconds
remaining in regulation. Kelly added "Tim made a great pass and I
was lucky enough to tip it into the opposite corner of the net".
Zito would add a late goal to secure the victory for the Guppies. Joe
Linskey had another off night stopping just 13 of the Knights 21 shots.
