8/8/02- The Killingworth Guppies are 2-0 for the first time in their 6 season history. Brian Kelly (3-1-4) and Rob Murphy (0-4-4) each had four points to lead the guppies to their 7-3 victory Thursday night. Joe Linskey had a strong performance posting a shutout until the final 3 minutes of the game. The Guppies next game is Thurs night at 1030pm vs Team Aloi.

- Thurs marks the first game of the season for Mark Crayton & Rob Murphy
- Brian Kelly Scored 2 shorthand goals Thursday night.
- Joe Linskey almost doupled the number of Guppies Shutouts Thursday
night. Linskey was in net for the only Guppies Shutout game in 1996 vs the Spiders.
- Longtime Guppie Brian Blair announced his retirement Wednesday
