John Carroll's Career Highlights

1995 - In John's Rookie season with the Guppies, He would score the Guppies first Goal in team History and quarterback the Guppies Defense. John was also vote the Team MVP for the Hartford Whalers Alumni Tournament. Scoring the Game winning goal in Overtime that sent the Guppies to the Championship game. Named as an Assistant Captain.

1996 - Again the Guppies defensive quarterback taking more of a defensive role with the signing of  Chris Malerba to the Guppies roster. John would win the Leagues Most Valuable Defenseman award as he help the Guppies to their first Championship.

1997 - With the departure of Malerba, Carroll stepped back into the #1 role on Defense and continued to lead by example. Again John was a force on both ends of the Rink.

1998 - Helped lead the Guppies to their 2nd Championship in Three years. Finished second in MVD voting in the 1998 finals.

2001 - After two seasons off, with the Guppies ceasing operations, the Guppies struggled. John was a key member in keeping the Guppies focused. John would help the Guppies make the playoffs despite their awful start.

2002 - Career high in points. Voted the Team's Most Valuable Defenseman. Helped the Guppies to a perfect 12-0 season and a third team Championship.

2002-03 - Spent most of the season on the Injured reserve list. However was able to return for the playoffs and help the Guppies capture their fourth team championship. Was third among defenseman in scoring.

Spring - 2003 - Played in all 12 Guppie games, fourth among defenseman in scoring. Helping the guppies to a 2nd place regular season finish and the teams third straight Championship game.

Summer 2003 - Played in all 13 of Killingworth's Games finishing 4th among defensemen in scoring. Receiving his 30 assist for the guppies since 2002. Helped the Guppies to their fourth straight Championship game.

Spring 2004 - John had a strong offensive season scoring 4 goals and adding 3 assist. The 4 goals were tied his highest goal production since the 2002 season. Finished 3rd among Defensemen in scoring. Captured his 5th team championship.

Summer 2004 - The Injury bug effected John in the Summer 2004. After a strong season in the Spring 2004 Carroll only played in 4 games. John was also unavailable to play in the Summer 04 playoffs because of league rules.
