Joseph Linskey 's Career Highlights

1996 - Joe signed his first Guppy contract in the Spring of 1996. He would quickly become the Guppies #1 netminder. He recorded the Guppies first Shut out on Aug. 18, 1996. He back stopped the Guppies to their first Championship and was Voted the League's Most Valuable Goalie (MVG).

1997 - Joe Continued his success in the Guppies net. Leading the Guppies to a First place finish in the Waterbury B-2 Division.

1998 - In 1998 the Guppies relied heavily on Linskey's Goaltending to capture second place. Linskey would lead the Gupps to their second championship in three years. He was voted the Leagues Most Valuable Goalie.

2001 - Linskey's toughest year in Guppies Blue posting a 0-7-1 Record. However, Joe had a solid effort vs the Juggernauts in the Semi-finals. The Gupps lost in OT but Linskey was voted the League's MVG.

2002 - Posted a perfect 8-0-0 Record while leading the Team to their first Championship in 4 years. Posted a Career low in goals against 27.

2003 - Played in all ten regular season games for the Guppies posting a perfect 10-0-0 record. Lead the Guppies to their second straight team championship. Set a career low GAA at 3.10.

Spring 2003 - Lead the Guppies to a second place finish going 7-3-0 on the season. Recorded back to back shut outs (5/21  vs the Blue Devils; 5/28 vs the Knights). Faced 34 shots in the Championship game vs the GCP but lost the game in Overtime.

Summer 2003 - Lead the league with a perfect regular season record 10-0-0 and 3.11 GAA. Struggled in the playoffs posting a 1-2-0 record.
